Dragon’s Loyalty & One Lovely Blogger Award

Hey, guys! In case you haven’t noticed, I’ve been experimenting with how to format my posts. If you come back and notice they’ve been changed again, it’s because I’m picky and haven’t found “the one” yet. Anyway, I’ve been nominated for this two-in-one award by the wonderful Shivalika @ Whimsy JournalsMake sure to check out her blog!

And without further adeu, let’s begin!

1.) Display the award on your blog

2.) Announce your win with a post and link the blogger who awarded you

3.) Present 6 deserving bloggers with the award

4.) Link your awardees in the post

5.) Write 7 interesting things about you

I’m currently a Criminal Justice major and hope to one day be employed in the fire service as an investigator. I’ll be following in the footsteps of my dad, a retired lieutenant.

I’m addicted to Korean dramas and the occasional Japanese movie. I think it’s fascinating to learn about different cultures while enjoying myself at the same time. This also somehow evolved into Kpop, which is great, bubbly music to exercise to.

When I was younger, I didn’t like a lot of food that was the ‘norm’ down here in the South. Now, I love cole slaw and sweet tea. Make up your mind, taste buds!

I took two years of German in high school, so I can speak basic sentences and carry on a preschool-level conversation.

I’m an organization freak and I love to buy office/school supplies.

I love Harry Potter. I just don’t like Harry himself. Besides being a hero and everything, I think he’s egotistical, naive, and selfish. Not to a huge extent, but just enough to make me dislike him.

I’m a tomboy and generally dislike girly things.

1.) You must thank person who nominated you and include a link to their blog

2.) You must list the rules and display the award

3.) You must add 7 facts about yourself

4.) You must nominate 15 other bloggers

I get migraines occasionally. I know when they’re coming because my vision distorts and I’m essentially blind for about 20 minutes. The terrible headache follows and I usually spend the next day or two in bed.

I’m about 5’10” tall

I LOVE the movie Spirited Away. My life would be complete if a sequel was made, or even a short 20-minute clip that shows Chihiro and Haku meeting again as adults. Please, Hayao Miyazaki!

I have lived in Florida, USA all my life and have never seen snow, except in movies and pictures. The highest elevation I’ve ever been at was Pennsylvania.

I’ve never flown in an airplane, but I hope to visit Europe one day.

Other than writing and reading, I like to spend my free time browsing

I love the mini-series North and South. It was a fascinating look into the industrial era, from the view points of both the poor and the rich. Plus, Richard Armitage and his amazing voice were in it 🙂

My Nominations:

Erika @ Bookventureland

Lyn @ Just Something about Lynlyn

Summer @ Xingsings

Josie @ Josie the Bookworm

And YOU!

Thank you so much for reading! Have a wonderful day and happy reading!

      1. It’s two awards in one post. The person who nominated me combined them together, so I just kept it that way. You can separate them, if you’d like

  1. This is so belated but thank you for the nominations, Megan! Gosh, we have quite a lot in common. I’m also from the south and love sweet tea. It’s kind of a must if you grow up there, right? 😉 And oh my gosh, even though I don’t really keep up with it anymore, I love K-pop! Especially Exo, which kind of obvious to Exo-Ls because of my blog name, haha. It’s so unbookish but if I can share my love for Lay and unicorns I will. And I haven’t been watching that many dramas this year but I did recently watch She Was Pretty. It was so cute! I have to admit that I think I’m growing out of K-dramas. They are really similar-in good and fun ways sometimes though. And ahh, I adore all the Studio Ghibli films hence why my header is from Howl’s Moving Castle. XD Thanks again for the tag; have a nice Thanksgiving if you celebrate it! 😀

    1. I love k-dramas because even if they’re not at logical, they’re entertaining and sweet stories. And I’m pretty new to kpop, so I’m still learning their names haha But yeah, it does appear like we have a lot in common, doesn’t it? lol I hope your Thanksgiving was amazing as well!
